17 NovSoler dresses have featured in the new short film series “Away we Stay” staring Helena Christensen. The film was directed by EdoardoPonti and presented by W Hotels.
The dresses worn by Helena include the Maria Frill dress from our exclusive “Pintado a Mano”( hand painted) line and our Diamante Silk/Chiffon dress.
The movie premiere was held at the Electric Cinema on the 15th of November.

Who is Alex Al-Bader?
18 MarAlexandra AL-Bader is the founder and designer of SOLER. Alex is from Barcelona Spain and has been living in London for 15 years. She graduated from the University of Westminster with a marketing degree, but has been in fashion since the age of 17. In the last few years Alex has developed a passion for vintage and fabrics. And today she has found a niche, Soler.
The inspiration behind Soler styles and designs are vintage. All fabrics are pure, silks (chiffons, georgettes?) and cotton (cotton silks) and some are combined with trims and embroiders to give a personal character to the piece. The fabrics, trims, embroiders are sourced from London, Paris, Barcelona, New York and Marrakech. There is a lot of time, energy and effort to bring home the best.
Soler is a fresh, super chic, and original design. It is an ongoing collection, it is always changing. All pieces are exclusive because they are limited editions and/or one-off.
The fabrics we buy have a life time. It means that we do not buy a lot of anything so that we can produce a few pieces from a specific fabric and then move on into the next one. We want to keep the sense of exclusivity and always be excited about the next find!
The majority of the pieces we produce are hand made in and produced in London and because of that, Soler provides costume made services to all its clients to the finish of each piece.clients in a relaxed atmosphere can browse and choose from, together we choose the right style that best suits. There is always a piece for you!
Soler has also developed a unique line of hand painted pieces made of silk. Monica Subide, Alex?s sister, an upcoming artist in her own right, hand paints the pieces individually. You need to see how special this is. It is also worth noting that all Soler labels are hand painted.
Because of the nature of the fabrics, pieces can be worn in a casual and/or dress them up for the night.
Soler offers a line of belts also from vintage ideas that complement very well the collection.
